About the player
Tobias Portillo came through the Cerro Porteño academy and stepped into the first team in 2024, when he made five league appearances in the Primera División and scored once, also getting minutes in the Copa Libertadores. The following year he added a call-up to the Paraguay under-20 side, winning a single cap in a friendly without scoring.
In July 2026, with opportunities at Cerro Porteño limited, he was loaned out to Sportivo 2 de Mayo for the Clausura, a move announced on 6 July and set to run until the end of the year.
