Tomás Leonel González

Tomás Leonel González made his senior debut with Nueva Chicago in February 2022 and scored six goals in twenty league appearances that season. On his debut, on 20 July 2022, he came off the bench to score a 96th-minute equaliser against San Lorenzo, salvaging a 2-2 draw.

Across the 2022 and 2023 seasons he made 19 league appearances and scored twice.

At Quilmes in 2024 he scored nine goals in 38 league appearances, adding one in the Copa Argentina against Central Córdoba (SdE) and a hat-trick against San Martín (SJ). A season at Ferro Carril Oeste yielded 13 appearances without a goal, before a move to Arsenal de Sarandí brought four goals in 15 league games. He returned to Unión in July 2026 only to be loaned out again, this time to Deportivo Riestra, where he has added two goals in nine appearances while wearing the number 21 shirt.

González's route into professional football began at Boca Unidos in Corrientes, where budget constraints meant he never made a first-team appearance. He has represented Argentina at under-20 level, winning the Torneo Sub-20 de la Alcudia in Spain in 2022, but has not been capped at senior international level.
