Tomislav Glumac

Tomislav Glumac left RNK Split as captain. He joined Balıkesirspor in January 2015 on a six-month loan with an option to buy. The club made the move permanent in August 2015, and he stayed until January 2020.

His route to that point began in Dubrovnik, where he came through the youth ranks at GOŠK from 2006 to 2010. In 2010 he moved to the Hajduk Split academy. He was loaned almost at once to NK Zadar for the 2010–11 season, and he returned to Hajduk for 2011–12. In January 2012 he moved to RNK Split.

Split was where his career took shape. He captained the side in 2014–15 and made 82 appearances for the club, so the loan to Balıkesirspor came in the middle of a season in which he held the armband.

Before that he had played for Croatia at several youth levels. He won seven caps for the Under-18s in 2009 and 12 for the Under-19s across 2009 and 2010. That Under-19 side reached the semi-finals of the 2010 UEFA European Championship. He then played four times for the Under-20s and took part in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia. He made one appearance for the Under-21s in 2011.

In January 2020 he joined Ümraniyespor on a free transfer. His contract there runs until 30 June 2027.
