About the player
Vimoj Muntu Wa Mungu came through the Paris Saint-Germain academy, signing his first professional contract with the club in June 2022. Before that step up, he had already featured for PSG's U19 side in the UEFA Youth League, making 13 appearances between 2021 and 2023. In August 2023 he left for Italy, joining Torino on a season-long loan with an option to buy, and played for the club's senior side between January and June 2024 while also being listed with the U19 squad. Torino did not take up the option, and he departed as a free agent.
He signed for Guingamp in July 2025, starting out with the reserve side, Guingamp II, in National 3. He signed his first professional contract with the Brittany club in May 2026, and by the 2026/2027 season he had broken into the senior team, making six appearances in Ligue 2.
At international level, the left-back has represented France at youth level. He won four caps for the France U19 side during the UEFA U19 Euro 2023 qualifying campaign, appearing in both the First and Elite Rounds, including matches against Scotland and Romania, though France did not qualify for the final tournament. He also added one appearance for the France U20 side in a friendly in 2023.
