About the player
Vitus Friis spent last season with Odense's youth side before earning a permanent place in the first-team squad in September 2025, when the club tied him to a contract running until the summer of 2027. The move capped a path through Danish youth football that began at Tåsinge fB and continued at SfB/Oure before he joined OB's academy.
His first-team debut arrived within days of that new deal: Friis played his first match for OB in the Danish Cup on 23 September, then followed it five days later with his Superliga debut. Both appearances came in the same week, marking a rapid step up from the club's youth ranks to competitive senior football.
Friis wears the number 21 shirt at Odense. He has yet to score for the first team, and his senior involvement so far consists of that single competitive appearance logged since the Cup and league debuts. No call-ups to Denmark's youth or senior national teams have been recorded.
