Vyacheslav Shvyrev

Vyacheslav Shvyrev came through Kairat Almaty's youth ranks, where he was named best player of the Kazakhstan Youth Championship in 2016 and finished as its top scorer a year later with 28 goals. The goal-scoring habit followed him: at Kairat Moscow, on loan for the second half of 2021, he shared the title of top scorer of the Russian Cup that season alongside Quincy Promes and Maxim Lauk, scoring four goals in five matches.

His longest spell came at Kairat Almaty across two stints either side of loans at FK Akzhayik and Kairat Moscow, during which he won the Kazakhstan Premier League twice, in 2020 and 2024, and the Kazakhstan Cup in 2018. Across his appearances for the club he scored 14 goals in total. Since leaving Kairat at the end of 2024, his career has moved quickly: spells at Ordabasy and Aktobe brought little end product in front of goal, before a move to Irtysh in January 2026 gave him a run of 16 appearances.

Shvyrev has represented Kazakhstan at youth level, with caps for the under-17s and six appearances for the under-21s, for whom he scored against Israel in Euro 2021 qualifying. He has since been called up to the senior national team, though he is still waiting for his first cap.
