About the player
Ehor Nazaryna made his senior debut for Dnipro in the 2016/17 season. In January 2018 he transferred to Royal Antwerp, and a loan spell at Karpaty Lviv in 2019/20 saw him make 15 Ukrainian Premier League appearances, score five goals, and win a Player of the Month award in November 2019. He returned to Antwerp that June, then joined Zorya Luhansk permanently that July.
Shakhtar Donetsk signed him on 22 September 2022 for a reported €800,000, and he has settled into a regular squad role since. He has won Ukrainian Premier League titles in 2022/23 and 2023/24, Ukrainian Cup wins in 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25, and a further league title in 2025/26.
His international career began later. Nazaryna made his senior debut for Ukraine on 9 September 2023 in a Euro 2024 qualifier against England, a match that finished 1-1. Since then he has added caps against Malta, Belgium, New Zealand, France, Iceland, Poland and Denmark, taking his total to eight appearances for the national side, alongside earlier experience at Under-21 level.
