1980 Wien

Two youth sides, one from Favoriten and one from Leopoldstadt, joined forces in the spring of 1980 and entered the Vienna Football Association's league system that summer.

The first came in 1995, with SK Sisyphos 2000, and produced FC 1980 Wien Sisyphos. The second, in 2006, was with the re-founded FC Wien. That club dated from 1914, was dissolved in 1973 and came back in 1983.

It plays in red and black in the Wiener Stadtliga, the fourth tier of Austrian football. Home is the Franz Koci Sportanlage on Franz-Koci-Straße in the 10th district, also called the 1980 Wien Arena. It holds 1,500 and can be expanded to 6,000.

The club has won no league title. Its best recent result came in 2026, when it reached the final of the Wiener Landescup, the Vienna cup, and lost to SV Wienerberg.

Wienerberg are also the club's closest rivals, alongside Favoritner AC. Matches against Wienerberg are known as the Favoritner Bezirksderby, the Favoriten district derby. Both clubs come from the district where 1980 Wien's own story began.
