ALSS Luxembourg

Its old neighbours were the players of FC Red Black Pfaffenthal, and in the end the two clubs stopped competing altogether: in 2025 they merged into AS Red Black Luxemburg.

What became AS ALSS started out in 1919 as FC AS Luxemburg-Feschmaart, and it kept changing its name almost as often as its fortunes changed. It went through FC AS Luxemburg/Porto in 2008, was rebranded AS ALSS — Association Luxembourgeoise Street Soccer — under president Domenico Laporta in July 2022, then reverted to AS Lëtzebuerg-Fëschmaart the following year, before the merger closed the book on the name altogether.

The club's best days on the pitch belong to an earlier era: the Division of Honour title in 1922-23, then three 2. Division championships, in 1968-69, 1979-80 and 1986-87. The Coupe de Luxembourg never came its way, and the closest it got was the last 16 in 2023-24, when it beat Avenir Beggen 2-1 before RFCU Luxemburg ended the run.

The club plays in white and black. It never ran on fixed wages, either — players were paid in match bonuses, not salaries, a model tied to the club's broader work in social integration around Luxembourg City.
