Arlanda

Promotion to Ettan Norra came in 2024, when FC Arlanda topped Division 2 Norra Svealand — the first time in the club's history it had reached that level, a year after finishing fourth in the same division. Before that, the record book stays empty; the club has entered the first round of the Svenska Cupen five times since 2017.

The name took longer to settle than the table position. Founded in 2004 as Viña del Mar, the club became Viña/Valsta FF soon after, then switched to FC Arlanda in 2008 to stop being confused with Valsta Syrianska IK, a separate club in the same area. Members with Chilean roots pushed for a return to Viña del Mar in 2014, and the club reverted to FC Arlanda in 2015. Märsta IK, founded in 1927, is a different club altogether, though the two share players and a community, and FC Arlanda has drawn recruits from its ranks.

On the pitch, the squad has sent goalkeepers and defenders such as Otega Ekperuoh, Viggo Elfström and Mario Butros on to Allsvenskan sides including IF Brommapojkarna and AIK, while midfielders Theoharis Patjas and Saifur Rehman moved on to Djurgårdens IF and IK Sirius. Locally, the fixture that matters is against Rosersbergs IK, known simply as "derbyt" in the area's own press.

Around 30 teams play under the club's green and white, five of them girls' sides. They do it at Midgårdsvallen in Märsta.
