Błonianka Błonie

Błonianka Błonie grew out of the post-war desire to organise sport in a town situated just west of Warsaw. The club has long played at the Municipal Stadium, a ground that has seen its capacity figure shifted between 320 and 502 depending on which source you trust.

Supporters know the side as the white-and-greens, a description that fits the colours rather than a distinct nickname. The history here is not written in national trophies, but in the relentless movement between the lower divisions. Their most notable setback in a regional cup came in 2019, when they lost to Legia II Warszawa in extra time after a tight contest.

One name remains attached to the club’s identity: Jerzy Jan Woźniak. A Polish national team player and Olympic participant, he spent years coaching at the club after his playing days ended. Other figures, like Ireneusz Zawadzki, moved on to manage in Warsaw, but the club itself stayed rooted in Błonie.

The rivalry is not defined by a single derby, but by proximity. Piast Piastów and GLKS Nadarzyn are the teams you meet most often, though encounters with Drukarz Warszawa and Ursus Warszawa carry the same weight.
