Damissa

Damissa play in the Super Ligue Pro, the top flight of Benin's Championnat National. No fixture has a name of its own as a derby. The home ground, the 1,000-capacity Stade N'Dali, is the municipal stadium.

The club came into the league by moving. AS Tado had been based in Dogbo, and its best result there was third place in the third-tier Championnat National Amateur in 2012–13, which brought promotion to Ligue 2 for the following season. At an ordinary general assembly on 15 September 2020, the management voted to change the name, the logo and the headquarters, which went to N'Dali. Francis Koto Gbian became the first president of the re-established Damissa FC.

The new name is the local word for panther. The colours follow from it: green for the animal's habitat, yellow for its coat, black for the spots, and white, which the club reads as purity, transparency and peace. Supporters call the team Le Félin de N'dali, or just Le Félin.

The first season, 2020–2021, ended in sixth place in the Super Ligue Pro. Damissa reached it as one of the top three from the Zone B group. No league title or national cup has followed, at least through 2024/2025. Arafat Ouro-Agoro left the bench in April 2024, and Jules Koudjodji had joined the coaching staff in late 2021 or early 2022.

The player most associated with the club now is Henri Joël Chabi Guiya, a central defender who came through the academy. He is 19 and an undisputed starter.
