Kraké

Yamirou Ouorou spent his youth years at Kraké before European scouts came looking, and by 2023 he had been named best player of the Ligue 1 McDonald's Trophée des Académies, a run that carried him to AC Horsens in Denmark. Faridou Arouna followed the same road to the same Danish club, and in 2025 Chérif Dine Baba Yaya, a defensive midfielder raised through the same academy, signed with Rio Ave FC in Portugal.

The club's own record on the pitch is thinner. In 2007 it won the Benin Second Division, beating ASPAC FC in the final to earn promotion to the top flight, and that same year it reached the quarter-finals of the Coupe du Bénin. Neither the Premier League title nor the Cup has followed. Matches against AS Dragons FC de l'Ouémé and against ASPAC FC carry the sharpest edge locally, though nothing has been fixed into an official derby.

Kraké now competes in the Benin Premier League.
