Talin jalkapallohalli, at Purotie 8 in Helsinki, is an indoor football hall that seats about 500 people. A club that plays in the seventh and sixth tiers of Finnish football has no use for a bigger ground, and the hall's size suits the crowds it draws.
FC Dons, registered as a sports association (FC Dons ry) and also called Helsingin Dons, runs more than one side. Alongside the men's team there are FC Dons Akatemia and FC Dons Naiset, and the league placings sit in the Kutonen and Vitonen, the seventh and sixth divisions.
The Finnish Cup is where a club at this level gets to meet opponents from higher up. In the 2023 edition FC Dons beat FC Samba 2-0 and then Helsingin Ponnistus II. On 6 May 2023, in the third round, they lost 1-2 to Tuusulan Palloseura (TuPS), a defeat by a single goal.
The club has no league title to its name, and no long-running rivalry has formed around it. What it has is a home in Tali and a hall where a match draws a few hundred at most.
