Dorking Wanderers

The Mole Valley Derby against Leatherhead and the Surrey Derby against Woking give some idea of the ground Dorking Wanderers have covered since Marc White and a group of friends put a recreational team together in 1999. The club took twelve promotions in twenty-three seasons to get there, starting out in the Crawley & District League and working through the West Sussex League, where Division Four North fell in 2000–01, Division Two North in 2003–04 and the Premier Division in 2006–07.

The Isthmian League Premier Division title of 2018–19 opened the door to the National League South, and in 2021–22 a second-place finish there was converted into promotion at Ebbsfleet United's expense in the play-off final, taking Dorking into the National League — the fifth tier — for the first time in the club's history. That step lasted two seasons; relegation back to the National League South followed in 2024.

Meadowbank Stadium, refurbished before the club moved in during July 2018, has held as many as 3,732 for a visit from Woking, well above its listed capacity of 3,000. A Surrey Senior Cup from 2022 sits alongside a run of county and regional titles.
