Dormaa

Promotion arrived through the regional pyramid rather than any cup run: Dormaa Unity took the BARFA Division Two League title in the 2023/24 season and used it to reach the Ghana Division One League. It remains the only silverware on record for a side that had spent its existence to that point working through the Bono Region's lower divisions.

The club was founded in 2008 in Dormaa Ahenkro, the seat of the Dormaa Traditional Area, and is sometimes recorded under the fuller name Dormaa Nkyenkyenkye FC — "Nkyenkyenkye" rendering as "the many" in Twi. It plays under a separate identity from the older Dormaa United, the town's original club, which was rebranded as Aduana Stars and now competes in the Ghana Premier League; Dormaa Unity's own rise through BARFA football has been a parallel, later story.

Matches are played at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium, holding up to 10,000. William Addo has carried the club's recent form, taking the NASCO Division One League Player of the Month award in December 2024 and again in March 2025.
