Eight straight Naiste Meistriliiga titles, the most recent completed in 2025, tells most of what needs to be said about where Flora stand in Estonian women's football at the start of this decade: not in a title race but in a league of their own. Each autumn now brings a UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying round instead, a fixture the club has kept every year since 2018-19 without yet getting past the first stage; this cycle's opponent is Mġarr United of Malta.

The team began in 1997 as the women's section grafted onto FC Flora, itself seven years old at the time, and the gap between the two Floras has closed only slowly in prestige even as the women's side accumulated nine Estonian Women's Cups and eight Supercups alongside the league run. Lisette Tammik did more than anyone to establish the club's early identity, scoring over 180 goals across two spells and standing as the first professional player the Naiste Meistriliiga ever had. Katrin Loo, the captain, has since become the most-capped player in Estonia's women's national team history.

The derby that still carries weight locally is against Tallinna Kalev, though it no longer decides much given the current gap in results. Flora's own ground shifts with the calendar: the main Lilleküla Stadium, known commercially as A. Le Coq Arena and holding 14,336, is kept for the Champions League nights, while the club retreats to the smaller Sportland Arena within the same Lilleküla complex through the winter months, when the outdoor grass pitches go unplayable.
