The Stadio delle Terme, in Bagni di Lucca, seats around 2,000. Ghiviborgo plays its home matches there rather than in Ghivizzano itself, while a synthetic pitch at Carraia awaits its opening for the club.
The club took shape in 2012, when two long-standing local sides, U.S. Ghivizzano and G.S.D. Borgo a Mozzano, merged into one. The white and red on the shirts come from that union: white and red from Ghivizzano, white and blue from Borgo a Mozzano. The name was adjusted once more in 2021, to Ghiviborgo VDS.
Serie D, the fifth tier, is where the club has settled, currently in Girone E. A third-place finish in Eccellenza Girone A came in the club's first full season, 2012–13, with a run into the promotion playoffs.
