Habay-la-Neuve

In March 2025 the reserve side, Habay-la-Neuve B, won Provincial League Two (P2) Luxembourg outright, taking the title as a side that had been moved up a level. The first team's own titles came in the division above: Provincial League One (P1) Luxembourg in 2016–17 and again in 2018–19. In that second season it also reached the semi-finals of the Provincial Cup.

The club dates from 1 June 1941 and joined the Belgian Football Association that September under registration number 3093. Several sides had existed in the town before it, among them Emulation F.C. from 1911 and L'Etoile Bleue from 1925, but none of them is the same club. It became "Royal" in 1991 for its 50th anniversary, and the name changed officially on 1 July 1992.

The best-known player to come through the youth teams is the goalkeeper Anthony Moris, who was at Habay from 1996 to 2000 before Standard Liège took him. He later played for Royal Excelsior Virton and Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, won the Belgian Cup with Union in 2024 and the Belgian Pro League in 2025.

Virton, the other big club in the Gaume region, are the rival. The Derby Gaumais, also written "Underby Gaumais", has drawn more than 4,000 spectators, four times what the home ground holds.

That ground is the Stade Emile Mathieu on Rue des Carrosses, which the club moved into for the 1960–61 season after leaving Rue de la Charmoye. It carries the name of a president who held the post for over 20 years. The capacity is 1,000, and the team plays in red and black.
