Hereford Pegasus

They found a way back into it in 2019, when the name changed from Pegasus Juniors to Hereford Pegasus. Before that rebranding, the club had already established itself in the wider sporting geography of Hereford, England, though it remained tethered to its junior roots.

The ground tells the story of that stability. Old School Lane, now branded as the KGD Stadium for sponsorship reasons, holds 2,000 spectators. The club plays in white shirts with a red body, white shorts, and red socks at home. They are also known as 'Peggy'.

Success here has been measured in divisions rather than prizes. The Hellenic Football League Division One title came twice: first in 1984–85 and again in 1998–99. More recently, the Hellenic League Challenge Cup was claimed in 2026, adding a new layer to the club’s narrative. But the competition that truly defines their reach is the FA Cup.

There is tension with Hereford FC. On the pitch, individual careers are marked by longevity. Today, Max Harris, a goalkeeper born in 1999, anchors the defence.

It is hard to separate the club from the town. Hereford Pegasus does not exist in a vacuum. And it continues to play.
