«Hetman Wielki Koronny»
The senior side withdrew from senior competition in 2010, undone by debt, and returned in 2016 built around a youth team that had been running since 1993. The name itself changed with the country around it: Strzelec at the founding in 1934, then Sparta, Unia, MZKS Hetman, briefly CWKS Hetman after a merger with Technik, before it settled back to Hetman Zamość in 1957 and finally to KS Hetman in 1993.
Przemysław Tytoń passed through the club on his way to Górnik Łęczna, Ajax and the Polish national goal; Seweryn Gancarczyk played his left-back football here between 1999 and 2003, in the middle of the golden run, before going to the 2006 World Cup. Zbigniew Pająk stayed longer than either — as a player, then coach, then vice-president — which is a different kind of career than either had.
The ground reopened in July 2025 with 1,760 seats, a fraction of the 12,500 it once held.
