Hodio

The Stade Omnisports de Comé holds about 4,000 people. It is a municipal ground, and the club that plays there is named after the town in its own nickname: Les Comè-boys.

Hodio was founded in 1998. Its full name, Cnss Sport Hodio, comes from its sponsor, the Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale, Benin's national social security fund. Match reports usually shorten it to Hodio FC. The colours are midnight blue and white.

The club has won no league title and no cup. It plays in the Championnat National, the top tier of Beninese football, and its results have mostly put it in the middle of the table or below. The season it does well in is the one where it beats its neighbours. Comé and Grand-Popo both lie in the Mono Department, so matches against Loto-Popo FC are called the Mono derby.

The player the club is most closely tied to is Kissini Hounkpevi, a defender who has been in the squad for years. His form earned him a call-up to the Benin national team, including for the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers and the tournament itself.
