Jeunesse Schieren

Two cup finals in three years tell the story of what Jeunesse Schieren has become. In 2022 the side beat FC Koeppchen Wormeldingen 3–1 to lift the Coupe FLF, the cup reserved for teams outside the top flight, and in 2024 it did it again, putting four past FC Kehlen without reply. Between those two finals the club also went up to the Ehrenpromotion, the second tier, the fourth time since 2000 it had earned that promotion.

None of that has carried Schieren into Luxembourg's top division or brought the national cup within reach, and the closest the club has come to a league title dates back to the 1951–52 season, when it won the 2. Division and stepped up to what was then called the Ehrenpromotion. Founded in Schieren in 1946, the club has spent most of the decades since shuttling around the middle tiers of Luxembourgish football, playing in yellow and black at the Terrain Am Ge'er.

One name from the recent past stands out: José Andrade, known as "Zé de Angola," a Cape Verdean international who joined Schieren for the 2009–10 season as the closing stretch of his playing career.

There is no derby with a name attached to it, but the rivalries are real enough. Games against FC 47 Bastendorf, FC Alliance Äischdall and FC AS Hosingen fall into what local reporters call a "Westderby" weekend, a cluster of fixtures against the clubs closest to Schieren on the map rather than any single fixed rival.
