Lilla Torg

Lilla Torg FF's roots run through two much smaller sides. IK Marathon, formed in 1936, merged in 1974 with BK Lydia, once Malmö FF's reserve team, to form LM-74. Local restaurateurs on the historic square Lilla Torg took up sponsorship in 2001, and the club renamed itself after them. The current club was formed on 1 January 2006, when LM Lilla Torg FF merged with IF Allians.

The men's team reached Division 2, the fourth tier, in 2009 and 2010, the highest level the senior side has played at. The women's section, set up only in 2017, moved faster: promotion from Division 4 Södra in 2018, then Division 3 Södra Götaland the following year, took them into Division 2 Södra Götaland for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

Malmö's football is dominated by Malmö FF and FC Rosengård, though the gap in resources leaves them one-sided. Karl Corneliusson spent three seasons at the club before going on to earn caps for Sweden, and Malmö FF sent players out on loan here, among them Robin Šimović in 2010.

Games are played at Mariedals IP, a ground with room for about a thousand spectators and both a grass and an artificial pitch.
