Líšeň II

Líšeň II is the reserve side of a club that no longer carries the name Líšeň. In May 2025 SK Líšeň became SK Artis Brno, a year after the billionaire Igor Fait took it over. The first team left its old ground in the Líšeň district for Stadion Srbská, which it now shares with FC Zbrojovka Brno, its rival in the Brno Derby.

The old ground, Stadion SK Líšeň in Kučerova, holds around 2,000 people. It suited a club that began in 1924 as SK Československý socialista Líšeň and spent most of its life well outside the national spotlight. The move to a stadium shared with the city's biggest club goes with a new logo and a new name. "Artis" is an acronym for Ambice, Respekt, Tým, Inspirace and Spojení: ambition, respect, team, inspiration, connection.

The change reaches below the first team. The youth sections of Líšeň and FC Svratka Brno were merged into one large academy, SK Artis Brno Líšeň-Žabovřesky. Luděk Pernica, who arrived from Zbrojovka in 2025, shows the other direction: the club now recruits from its neighbour.

The club's best result so far came before any of this. In 2018/19 it won the Moravskoslezská fotbalová liga, the third tier of Czech football, and went up to the Fotbalová národní liga, the second tier, for the first time.

Its most famous night is older. In 2007 Líšeň beat Slavia Prague 4:3 in the Czech Cup.
