Blansko

Stadion na Mlýnské holds a licensed 2,000. Blansko played there in 2020/21 after winning promotion to the Fortuna:Národní liga, finished thirteenth, and went straight back down to the Moravskoslezská fotbalová liga (MSFL).

The current FK Blansko dates only to 2004, formed through a merger with ASK Blansko, but the football played under that name and shirt goes back to AFK Blansko in 1929. The club settled back on the town's own name in 2001.

Promotion to that one season in the second tier came off the back of the MSFL title in 2019/20, itself the third time in little over a decade that Blansko had climbed out of Divize D. Further back, in 1978, the predecessor side Spartak KD Blansko won the South Moravian Regional Cup.

Local matches against FC Slovan Rosice are known around the town as the malé derby, the small derby.

Among those who came through the club, goalkeeper Jaromír Blažek went on to play for the Czech Republic, and František Trávníček represented Czechoslovakia.

What the ground has not produced is a widely used nickname for the team itself: Bláňané, sometimes attached to the club, is simply the word for people from Blansko, worn by the town before it was worn by the football club that carries its name.
