Maracena

Arenas de Armilla and CD Huétor Vega are the two sides Maracena measure themselves against, and a match with either is called "El Derbi" or the "Derbi de Maracena".

Los Azulillos, "The Little Blues", take the name from blue shirts with white details, worn over white shorts and socks. Unión Deportiva Maracena have kept that name since 1945 and never changed it. They have no major national title. Their best years came in the fourth tier, the Tercera División, where they spent 26 seasons. They finished third in 1994–95, then second in both 1995–96 and 1996–97, and third again in 1999–2000. Earlier, in 1971–72 and 1974–75, they won the Primera Regional de Granada, then the fifth tier.

The Tercera División run ended in 2021, when a place in the relegation zone in 2020–21 sent them down. They now play in the División de Honor, Group 2, at the sixth level.

The one night that took them outside that world came on 28 October 2025, in the first round of the 2025–26 Copa del Rey. They had reached it by beating Sporting de Ceuta, and the draw gave them Valencia CF, a La Liga side and the first top-flight opponent Maracena had faced in the competition. Valencia won 5–0.
