A group of villagers with progressive leanings put the club together in Aradippou, then a village in the Larnaca district, on 4 April 1929. The headquarters has stayed local ever since, on Apostolos Loukas Square, and the colours have stayed blue and white.

For most of its life the club has moved between the two top tiers rather than settled in either. Promotion first came in 1978.

Then came the long wait. Nearly three decades passed between that relegation and the Second Division title of 2024, which returned the club to the First Division for 2024–25.

The promotion brought a change of address. Aradippou now plays its home matches at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium in Larnaca, rented from Anorthosis since the 2024–25 season — a 10,230-seat ground since its 2008 rebuild.

Closer to home there is Erglis Aradippou, the neighbouring side from the same town. Talks about merging the two have been held more than once and have never come off, blocked by money and by disagreements between supporters and the boards.
