About

The Cypriot Coca-Cola Cup stands as the premier domestic knockout tournament for lower-tier sides in Cyprus. Established by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) for the 2008–09 season, the competition separates teams from the third and fourth levels of the national pyramid from the elite clubs. Before this reform, lower-division teams played alongside First and Second Division sides in the main national cup. The split created a distinct pathway for clubs in the Cypriot Third Division and the STOK Elite Division, which replaced the former fourth tier in 2015.

Participation remains optional for eligible teams, meaning the number of entrants varies each year. The format follows a standard knockout structure. Early stages consist of single-legged ties, while the quarter-finals and semi-finals require two legs. The final is a single match played at a neutral venue, such as the Dasaki Stadium or AEK Arena. Unlike the primary national cup, the winner does not earn a place in European competition but receives a financial bonus from the association.

Digenis Morphou holds the record for victories with two titles, winning in the 2011–12 and 2018–19 seasons. The trophy has also been lifted by Elpida Xylofagou, Chalkanoras Idaliou, Ethnikos Assia, THOI Lakatamia, Adonis Idaliou, Akritas Chlorakas, Alki Oroklini, P.O. Xylotympou, Onisilos Sotira, ENY Digenis Ypsona, ASIL Lysi, Spartakos Kitiou, APEA Akrotiri, and Ermis Aradippou. The tournament was abandoned during the 2019–20 and 2020–21 campaigns due to the pandemic. Clubs such as ASIL Lysi and P.O. Xylotympou have featured prominently in recent years, with ASIL Lysi securing the 2022–23 title.
