Sportlust '46

Sportlust '46 sit in the Tweede Divisie, the third tier of Dutch football, a level the club reached in unusual circumstances: when the 2019–20 season was scrapped, they were declared champions of the Hoofdklasse A and promoted without playing out the run-in.

The club plays under a name that keeps its origins visible: Zaterdag Sportvereniging Sportlust '46, a Saturday football side founded in Woerden in 1946. That amateur standing has not stopped it climbing the pyramid one division at a time, taking the Eerste Klasse title three times, in 2011, 2015 and 2019, after earlier working through the Vierde, Derde and Tweede Klasses.

Cup football has brought the club its sharpest moments. In 2012 Sportlust '46 beat Ajax's amateur side 3–2, and in the 2014/15 KNVB Beker they reached the third round before losing to FC Volendam. A decade later they drew FC Utrecht, a genuine professional outfit, and went out 3–0 in 2022 after having reached the second round the previous season. Rafik El Hamdi, who arrives with professional experience, joined that same year, while Robbert de Ruiter, another former pro, now runs the youth academy.

Locally, the fixtures that matter most are against ARC and CVV De Jodan Boys, meetings known collectively as the Derby van het Groene Hart, the Derby of the Green Heart.

Home games are played at Sportpark Cromwijck, on the Cromwijck West pitch, where 3,500 people can fit around the touchline in Woerden's red and white.
