Täfteå

Täfteborg sits on Täftebölevägen in the village of Täfteå, and it holds about 1,200 people. It has two surfaces: a grass pitch completed in 1997 and an artificial one laid in 2009. The ground is where the fishing-village nickname still applies. The Fish Boys take the name from Täfteå's past as a fishing settlement, and the badge carries a net with a salmon in it, drawn in blue and red on white.

Cycling ran until 1991, and floorball started in 1996. Cross-country skiing remains alongside football. Emma Berglund, who went on to play for the Swedish national team, began at Täfteå IK, as did several floorball players and skiers.

In the 1989–90 Svenska Cupen it reached the last 16 and lost 3–2 to IF Brommapojkarna. Its best league finish came in 1972, fifth in Division 3 Mellersta Norrland, then the third tier.

Täfteå restarted in Division 6 and won it in 2001. Promotion from Division 5 came in 2008, and the Division 4 Södra Västerbotten title followed in 2014. Two years later they won Division 3 Norra Norrland.

Täfteå currently compete in Division 2 Norrland.
