Tartu Helm started life in January 2021. The pattern repeated in a different key the following year: promotion earned outright, with 20 wins from 20 in the III liiga Lõuna in 2022, 111 goals scored against 14 conceded. A second South zone title followed in 2023, but that campaign ended the harder way, beaten 5-4 by Paide Linnameeskond III in the national final.
