FC Victoria Rosport was formed on 1 October 1928. The high point of the league record came in 2004/05, when the club finished fourth in the national championship — enough for a place in the Intertoto Cup the following summer, where Rosport went out in the first round.

Rosport reached the semi-finals in 2006, lost the final in 2008, and were beaten in the last four again in 2023 before getting back to the final in 2026, where Differdange 03 won 4-1.

The one trophy in the cabinet is the Promotion d'Honneur title of 2013/14, won after a runners-up finish in the same division in 2001/02.

The home kit is red throughout — shirt, shorts, socks; the change strip pairs an indigo shirt with black.
