The scoreboard from the club's return to Liga III tells its own story: a 4-1 win over CS Făurei in the Brăila County Cup final, followed by a 3-1 aggregate defeat of Carpați Nehoiu in the promotion play-off. Both came in the same 2024–25 season.
The club took shape in Traian, a commune in Brăila County, in 2009, and its business since has been Liga IV — the county championship it has won five times, in 2012, 2015, 2017, 2022 and 2025.
The one that does matter is Dacia Unirea Brăila.
