Viktoria Jüchen-Garzweiler are playing in the Oberliga Niederrhein, the fifth tier, and they are there for the first time. They earned it by winning the Landesliga Niederrhein in 2024/25, four years after the club's first promotion to that level in 2015 was followed by a second in 2023.
The club was formed on 1 July 1994, when VfL Eintracht Garzweiler, founded in 1908, joined forces with FC Viktoria Jüchen, founded in 1909. The colours are blue, white and red.
He came through its youth ranks, went on to play and coach in the Bundesliga, and took Bayer Leverkusen up in 1979. Willi Zimmermann joined in 1939 and played more than 1,000 games before serving as youth manager and chairman.
The Kreispokal has become a habit: the club won the district cup in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. The home ground, the Bezirkssportanlage Stadionstraße, opened in 1967 and holds 3,000. Tim Heubach, a former professional, arrived in 2022.
