Zabreh

Every Zábřeh season measures itself against Šumperk, the neighbouring town whose meetings with SK Sulko Zábřeh are a regional fixture.

The club itself has spent most of its life changing names. What is now SK Sulko Zábřeh passed through TJ Jiskra, TJ Tatran and TJ Slovan during the four decades after 1948, then went through a further round of rebranding — TJ Zábřeh in 1992, FK UNO Zábřeh two years later, a merger with SK Zvole in 1996, and finally, in 2003, the Sulko name it carries today.

On the pitch, the pattern has been climb, hold, slip back, climb again. The high point came with two spells in the Moravian-Silesian League, the third tier, first in 2001–2002 and then for a longer run from 2007 to 2015. Getting there in 2007 followed a title in what was then Division D, itself an echo of a similar promotion push in 2000/01. The most recent chapter came in 2024/25, when the club won the Olomoucký regional championship and earned its way back into Division F for 2025/26 — a fifth-tier title used, as before, to buy passage back up rather than as an end in itself.

Home games are played at the Městský stadion Zábřeh, which holds 5,000, more than the club's current level of football usually calls for but a reminder of the years spent higher up. The whole story traces back to 1919, when the club was founded under the name it carried before the political upheavals of the twentieth century started rewriting it.
