Hranice

Hranice sits in the Přerov District of the Olomouc Region, and it has two football clubs whose names are easily confused. FC Dukla Hranice began in 1948 as ATK Hranice, an army side, and plays in the lower regional leagues. SK Hranice is the civilian club. It dates from 1920.

SK Hranice reached the third round in 2001–02 and again in 2002–03. In between came 2003–04, when 1. FC Králová beat them 0:5 in the first round. They got back to the third round in 2004–05.

In June 2012 the club came up from the fifth-tier Regional Championship to the Fourth Division. It reached the Moravian-Silesian Football League, the third tier, in 2021–22, and was relegated at the end of 2023–24. Promotion back from the Fourth Division followed in June 2025.

The local rivalry is with FK Potštát. Matches between the two are called the "Hranicko derby", after the Hranice region.

The ground on Žáčkova holds 6,000 and is blue, red and white in its colours, with a blue home shirt striped in white. The 1997 Central European floods damaged it.
