Torvalla IP

It is easy to mistake Torvalla IP for any number of suburban grounds in Sweden. The ground is not a cathedral; it is a working facility for the local club, IFK Haninge, which plays in Division 2 Södra Svealand. The most striking feature is the new covered grandstand, inaugurated in October 2024 as part of a major renovation to bring the venue up to an 'elite arena' standard.

The capacity is small, around 2,500 in total. The ground has seen its share of higher-profile visits, including a Svenska Cupen match against Djurgårdens IF, though the club's record attendance of 10,893 was set at Stockholms Stadion because Torvalla IP was too small to hold the crowd. The facility also includes an indoor sporthall with a capacity of 1,500, but for football, the outdoor pitch is the focus.
