Guernsey Women tour of Jersey 2022/23

The Inter-Insular Women's Twenty20 Series is a cricket competition contested between the national women's teams of Jersey and Guernsey. The broader rivalry between the two islands dates back to 1950, but the women's fixture began in 2009, with Guernsey securing victory in that inaugural encounter. Official Twenty20 Internationals commenced in 2019 after both teams received full status from the International Cricket Council.

The series operates independently of the England and Wales Cricket Board pyramid, with organization handled by the Jersey Cricket Board and Guernsey Cricket Board. As ICC Associate members, the teams also compete in ICC Europe tournaments. The structure of the series has varied over time; it has featured single one-off matches as well as multi-match contests.

Jersey Women have established dominance in the current era. They won the 2022 series 2-0 and the 2023 series 3-0. Subsequent one-off matches in 2024 and 2025 were also claimed by Jersey, with the latter decided by 90 runs using the DLS method. Guernsey's victory in the first WT20I in 2019 remains a significant result for the island side. A notable team performance occurred in 2023 when Jersey posted a total of 196/3.

The women's competition is distinguished from the men's series by its exclusive focus on the Twenty20 format. While the men's fixtures often include a separate 50-over match, the women's series remains dedicated to the shorter game. Sponsorship arrangements also differ, with the men's series frequently carrying specific brand names for its trophy, whereas the women's events generally share broader event sponsorship.
