HKG Women's PL (Hong Kong) 2021/22

The **Hong Kong Women's Premier League** stands as the premier domestic women's cricket competition in the territory. Currently known as the **Gencor Women's Premier League** due to title sponsorship by Gencor Pacific Limited, the tournament sits at the apex of the domestic pyramid. It operates above standard club leagues, functioning as a representative league for the territory's top selected female cricketers.

Founded in 2020 by Cricket Hong Kong (CHK), the competition was designed to provide a higher standard of play and player development. The inaugural season commenced in October 2020 and featured only two representative teams: the Bauhinia Stars and the Jade Jets. These sides competed in a best-of-three series that initially utilised 35-over formats before shifting to Twenty20 (T20) cricket.

The structure of the event has evolved since its inception. While the early years focused on the original representative sides, recent editions have expanded to include four teams. The two founding clubs remain, joined by club-based entities such as Diasqua Little Sai Wan CC Women and Kowloon Cricket Club Women. The modern format typically involves a league phase followed by a single final match played in the T20 format.

Winners of the title include the Jade Jets Women, who secured the inaugural 2020/21 championship, and Diasqua Little Sai Wan CC Women, who claimed the crown in the 2021/22 season. The competition is organized centrally by Cricket Hong Kong, distinguishing it from local club-based leagues where teams represent specific sporting clubs rather than the territory's elite talent pool.
