Hong Kong All Stars T20 Series 2025/26

The Hong Kong All Stars T20 Series operates as a domestic franchise Twenty20 cricket competition organized by Cricket Hong Kong (CHK). Inaugurated for the 2020/21 season, it replaced the discontinued Hong Kong T20 Blitz, shifting from an international star-focused model to a structure based on regional representation. The tournament features three teams: the Hong Kong Islanders, the Kowloon Lions, and the New Territories Tigers. These squads are composed of a mix of capped and uncapped local talent, selected for the series rather than drawn from traditional club-based teams.

Unlike the official domestic pyramid, which consists of club leagues like the Premier League, this competition does not involve promotion or relegation. It serves primarily as a high-performance platform and selection tool for the Hong Kong national team. The format typically involves a round-robin group stage followed by a final. The Kowloon Lions won the inaugural 2020/21 season, defeating the Hong Kong Islanders in the final. In the 2023 edition, the New Territories Tigers secured the title by beating the Kowloon Lions. Most recently, the Hong Kong Islanders claimed the championship in the 2025/26 season.

The series is distinct from the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes, another CHK event, by being a 20-over tournament rather than a 6-a-side international festival. While the predecessor Blitz ran from 2016 to 2018 before being discontinued due to financial losses and lack of sponsorship, the current iteration focuses on developing local players. The competition remains separate from the standard league system, providing a unique environment for player evaluation and team building within the region.
