Zimbabwe Cricket Women's T20 Cup 2024/25

The Zimbabwe Cricket Women's T20 Cup stands as the premier domestic Twenty20 tournament for women in Zimbabwe. Organised by Zimbabwe Cricket, it operates within the top tier of the national pyramid, sitting parallel to the 50-over One-Day Cup. The competition launched in March 2022, established alongside the Fifty50 Challenge to strengthen the women's domestic structure. It functions as a closed league with no promotion or relegation, featuring established provincial franchises rather than a fluid system of movement.

The field comprises four main regional sides: the Eagles Women representing Mashonaland, the Mountaineers Women from Manicaland, the Rhinos Women from Midlands, and the Tuskers Women from Mashonaland West. Additionally, the Zimbabwe Women Under-19s team participates as a developmental side, providing high-level competitive experience for emerging players. The format follows a round-robin league stage, leading to knockout semi-finals and a final.

Tuskers Women hold the title of reigning champions after defeating the Zimbabwe Women Under-19s in the 2024 final. This victory adds to a record of past winners, which includes the Eagles Women, who claimed the inaugural edition in 2021–22, and the Mountaineers Women, who won the 2022–23 edition. The tournament remains distinct from the Fifty50 Challenge, the country's premier one-day competition. While both operate simultaneously, they feature separate trophies and reflect their different formats. The focus here is strictly on the Twenty20 format, offering a different pathway to success compared to the longer game.
