The two sides had met just two days earlier, with Spin Gar Warriors edging out a 195:189 victory in Kabul. Abasin Defenders turned the tables this time, winning by 28 points in front of their own supporters.
Abasin Defenders had been on a five-game winning streak, including narrow victories over Shamshad Eagles and Kabul Zulmi, plus a dominant 281:118 win against Zvezdy Band-e-Amir. Spin Gar Warriors had won three of their five matches, with losses coming against Abasin Defenders and Shamshad Eagles.
The result means Abasin Defenders hold a four-point lead at the summit of the standings. Spin Gar Warriors sit on six points, two behind their rivals after five rounds of fixtures.
