Kenya defeated Uganda 170-131 in the Africa Cup ILT20 on 19 September 2026, claiming a comprehensive victory that reshaped the tournament table. The hosts posted a total that proved too strong for their visitors, who had arrived fresh from a match against Uganda the previous day.
Both sides entered the contest with identical records—seven wins, one defeat, and fourteen points apiece. Uganda had taken the reverse fixture 197-150 on 18 September, but Kenya responded with a performance that punished their opponents from start to finish.
The win moves Kenya into sole possession of first place, while Uganda drop to second. Both teams remain level on points after eight games each, but the head-to-head result now separates them in the standings with one round remaining.
Kenya's victory halts a run that had seen them lose their opening match and then string together four consecutive wins. Uganda's solitary defeat now comes against the side they had beaten the day before, suggesting the momentum has swung decisively in favour of the hosts.
