Potsdam beat Ludwigshafen 23:19 on Saturday evening in the second Bundesliga, a result that kept the hosts at the top of the table after three games.
They'd already shown they could score freely, with victories over Emsdetten and TV Huttenberg coming through in the opening rounds. To be fair, Ludwigshafen had made it harder for themselves with two draws against Dessau-Rosslauer and Ferndorf, but this was never going to be a test of their resilience.
