Sanfrecce Hiroshima Women beat Omiya Ardija Ventus 2-0 in their WE League Regular Season fixture on Friday. The hosts moved clear in fifth place while the visitors remain rooted at the bottom of the table after two defeats.

Yoshino Nakashima broke the deadlock in the fortieth minute, and the lead held until half-time. By then Hiroshima had already established the pattern they would maintain throughout the second half.

Omiya made changes in the sixty-first minute, bringing on Namie Shimabukuro and Megumi Ito in an attempt to shift the momentum. Mami Ueno followed for Hiroshima in the seventieth, and Minami Munakata replaced another player shortly after.

Chiina Kamiya doubled the advantage in the eightieth minute, and the result was never really in doubt from that point. Omiya had three substitutions in the eighty-third minute and another three in the eighty-fifth, but the damage was done.
