Clarissa Larisey

Clarissa Larisey's career has run through Iceland, Scotland, Sweden and England before bringing her to Houston. She left Valur after just a few months in 2021 with an Úrvalsdeild kvenna title already in hand, then moved to Celtic, where she became the top scorer in the Scottish Women's Premier League with 12 goals in 12 league matches and helped the club win the Premier League Cup and the Scottish Women's Cup in the 2021–22 season.

A transfer to BK Häcken in January 2023 raised her profile further. Across two seasons in the Damallsvenskan she scored 15 goals in all competitions, a spell that included a goal against Chelsea in the UEFA Women's Champions League, and she left having reached the Swedish league final with Häcken as runners-up in 2024. A move to Crystal Palace in the Women's Super League followed in January 2025, before Houston Dash signed her permanently from the London club in July 2025.

Larisey's football roots are in Ottawa, where she came through the youth ranks at West Ottawa SC and Ottawa South United. Her scoring instinct showed early: playing for Ottawa South United in League1 Ontario in 2019, she once scored nine goals in a single 13–0 win over North Mississauga SC.

At international level, Larisey has earned caps for Canada and scored for her country in a 7–0 win over Chinese Taipei at the 2025 Pinatar Cup, part of a run that has brought her two goals in her appearances for the national side.
