Daniel Esteban Pedrozo Martínez

Daniel Pedrozo made his professional debut with Real Cartagena in January 2020, aged 15, and spent three seasons there before a switch to Al Wasl in the UAE Pro League in July 2023.

The more telling chapter of that period took place away from club football. Pedrozo had already worked his way up through Colombia's junior categories, from the under-15s through to the under-20s, and in 2023 he featured for the under-20 side at both the South American Championship and the FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he was singled out as one of Colombia's better performers.

He left Al Wasl as a free agent at the start of 2026 and signed for Deportes Tolima that January, taking the number 4 shirt. The move has returned him to regular first-team football: by the middle of the year he had made around ten appearances between the domestic league and the Copa Libertadores, working as a starter at centre-back for a club he joined without a transfer fee. A left-footed defender, he is still waiting for his first title with Tolima, and a senior call-up for Colombia has yet to follow the recognition he earned at youth level.
