Gabriel Barros

Barros grew up in São Paulo and came through the youth ranks at Ituano, making his senior debut in February 2020. He scored his first professional goal that July and finished the season as the club's top scorer with four goals across the Campeonato Paulista and Série C.

That form earned him a loan to Flamengo in October 2020. He made four first-team appearances in the 2021 Campeonato Carioca and was part of the squad that won that competition along with the 2021 Supercopa do Brasil, though he did not feature in the Supercopa final. Flamengo chose not to exercise the buyout clause in his loan deal, and he returned to Ituano in December 2021, staying until April 2023, when he signed permanently for Internacional. Botafogo had previously agreed a fee to sign him before that move collapsed; Flamengo retained a 10% cut of his economic rights from the eventual transfer.

Since joining Internacional, the left-footed forward has spent most of his time out on loan rather than establishing himself at the club. He has been sent to Atlético Goianiense, Avaí, Criciúma and Botafogo-SP in succession, where he made 15 appearances. He is now on loan at América Mineiro, where he has scored once in eight appearances.

Barros has not been capped by Brazil at any level. His only silverware to date remains the Campeonato Carioca and Supercopa do Brasil he won during his loan spell at Flamengo.
