Héctor Bobadilla

He scored 105 goals in two years across the Sub-16, Sub-17 and Sub-18 categories, finished top scorer at both Sub-17 and Sub-18 level, and won the Clausura with the Sub-18 side. He trained with the senior squad under Víctor Bernay, but the step up to the Paraguayan Primera División never materialised.

The first of those, at General Caballero in 2021, ended in promotion from the División Intermedia with a record 73 points, Bobadilla scoring along the way in a 4–1 win over Tacuary. A brief spell at 12 de Octubre brought a single Primera División appearance, and a loan at 24 de Setiembre added 14 games and two goals in the second tier.

On loan at Jorge Wilstermann from mid-2024, he scored 11 in 20 appearances before adding 10 more in 15 matches the following year. A mid-season move to Always Ready in July 2025: 18 goals in 27 games made him the club's top scorer and helped carry Always Ready to the Bolivian Primera División title, sealed with a 6–0 win over Guabirá in which he also scored.

That run in Bolivia earned him a loan move into Argentine football in January 2026, when Platense signed him from Cerro Porteño for a year with an option to buy. He has scored once in six Liga Profesional Clausura appearances so far, with two further outings in the Copa Libertadores. Bobadilla has represented Paraguay at youth level.
